Anthony Barbano specializes in an ultra contemporary glass blowing technique. His signature process involves melting 24K gold and pure silver into fascinatingly spectacular blown glass art designed with precision and intention. He is renowned for his luminescent color combinations and distinctive pendant detail. He studied art at the University of Utah, where he completed a Bachelors of Fine Art. Following graduation, Anthony traveled to Murano, Italy to meet his Italian ancestors and Murano glass masters. He apprenticed in the U.S.A., accepted a production studio position and is now the Artistic Director of Barbano Glass. For over a decade, he has established the direction and creative strategy of the Barbano Glass Collection. He has provided live narrated glassblowing demonstrations at special events and taught private flame-working foundations to children, youth and adults. Anthony is dedicated to advancing his glass blowing skills. Each Barbano Glass design is an original work of art, signed and dated for authenticity. The awe-inspiring collection of original masterpieces are available at select galleries nationwide and his work has been sold around the world.
